In light of the recent holiday season, I thought it would be appropriate to give thanks for a few things.

I'm thankful for friends. I'm thankful that I'm blessed enough to have so many friends, even though it does missing them so much sometimes it hurts.

I'm thankful for family. I love spending time with my family- especially on the holidays. If there's something we know how to do, its get together and eat and have a good time.

I'm thankful for health. Recently I found out about the sad news of a lady that I used to work with. Her 4 year old son is very sick, and likely won't get better because he has an immune deficiency. His life expectancy has been cut into about a quarter of what the rest of ours is, and that's in the best case scenario. I'm also thankful for the ability to help them out. Pray for Tracy's family- especially her son Scotty.

I'm thankful for life. I am so thankful that I can at least look back at my multitude of photographs with fond memories. I miss so many of my friends so much, and seeing blogs or myspace pages just isn't the same!

Well on a different note, I had a great holiday weekend. I spent Thanksgiving at my Gramma's house and we had a great time eating, yelling at the TV (The LIONS SUCK) and playing a game called "Screw your neighbor," which I won twice. I've never won it as many times as we've played it in the past few years. Its become a new tradition for us. Have you ever seen a 71 year-old woman be a sore loser? That's my gramma! It was cracking me up!

And then I had a good weekend otherwise- singing karaoke and what not. It was a good time. And I was glad to see some people I went to high school with- some whom I haven' t seen since I graduated, and some that make special appearances at karaoke. J-Dogg (Jason Goodemoot) never ceases to amaze me. He is so good. I love when he sings "Black Betty," because you'll rarely find a place like the one I go to: where most of the people who sing karaoke are actually good!

I hope whoever is reading this had a great holiday also. I'd like to hear about it.

LOL - Screw your neighbor. I haven't played that in YEARS! On a sentimental note...AWWWW! The part about being thankful for friends even though you miss them so much it hurts was so sad/sweet. I miss you tons and it is so sad that we don't get together as friends more often. But anyhoo, we had a great T-giving at Michael's dad's house and spent time with Michael's brother and his wife. Fun times.
